Ben Smith, who some thought might rejoin Hereford United, looks almost certain to join Conference South high-flyers Weymouth according to Shrewsbury Town manager, Gary Peters.
"I think its common knowledge that Ben Smith is likely to go. He's got a tremendous deal lined up with Weymouth and I think it would be foolish for Ben not to take it," Peters told the Official Shewsbury Town Website.
"Weymouth are an up and coming club and they are going to win the Conference South and be in the Conference next season pushing to get into the League. They've got a lot of money behind them and signing players like Ben will help them do so"
