Will Bailey play for Hereford again?

Last Saturday, Bulls News reported that Matt Bailey had returned to Crewe.

However today Graham Turner has told Jon Wells, in an interview for the Official Hereford United Website, that Bailey is still registered with the Bulls.

Wells noted that Bailey wasn't in the squad last Friday at Cambridge.

"Is he still with us?" asked Wells.

"Yes he is, he's still registered," replied Turner. Turner then explained why he didn't use him at Cambridge.

"I wasn't going to use him at Cambridge, because of the other strikers. I started with Andy Williams, and Graham Evans and Danny Carey-Bertram on the bench.

"I didn't see any point in taking another striker all the way down to Cambridge."

Only a few days before the Cambridge game, Hereford seemed very eager to ensure Bailey would be with the Bulls for another month.

It remains to be seen whether Bailey will play for Hereford United again. He is probably still on the books as the loan deal was agreed for another month but as Turner didn't really clarify the situation, questions may still be asked about Bailey and Hereford United.
