Turner: "Like Old Times"

Speaking to the Non-League Paper, Graham Turner told their reporter:

"It was a bit like old times for us today. The level of performance was something we've been waiting and working for and today it's started to come out."

"You have to bear in mind that Woking have had a very good run, 12 games unbeaten, so it was a great days work for us, not only winning the game and getting the points, but I thought we also defended magnificently."

"It was also nice to see Rob Purdie among the goals and Andy Williams getting his first Conference goal. That will be a big boost for him. If you go long periods without the ball then you get anxious and we were able to keep the ball from Woking for long spells. All in all it was a very good performance."

In other NLP news, Tony James, Tamika Mkandawire, and Rob Purdie all made the Team Of The Week. Ex-Bull Neil Grayson chose his "Dream Team" of players he has played with. Grayson, a regular fixture in the column having played with so many sides, chose one other former Bull in the side - Richard Walker, who played at Edgar Street with Grayson during the 1997/8 season and followed Grayson to Cheltenham.
