Little money at Dagenham

Dagenham and Redbridge are having difficulties in bringing experienced players to the club because of financial problems.

Several players are out with 'middle-term' injuries.

However striker Chris Moore will be back for Daggers on Saturday.

Moore missed last Saturday's trip to Halifax in which John Still's side hardly had a shot at goal.

According to the Barking and Dagenham recorder, Still says it will be good to have back the man who is now his top scorer, following Tresor Kandol's move and that Paul Bruce is better for 70 minutes at Halifax and a week's training.

Craig Mackail-Smith travelled to Belgium with the England national game squad for the non-league international in Belgium and Still says that the winger is another who is beginning to near fitness.

But the other injury news isn't good and Ashley Vickers, Jake Leberl and Sam Saunders look to be out with middle term injuries, at least.

"I'm constantly mindful of our substitute situation and I intend to look at our younger players to see if they have what we need, but our financial problems prevent us bringing in more experienced replacements," said Still.
