Ian Wright, the ex-Hereford United captain, is playing football again after 'retiring' last year whilst at Burton Albion.
Wright has joined Hednesford and made his Pitmen debut last night against Kettering. He joined another former Hereford United player, Richard Teesdale, in the back three.
The Pitmen draw the game 2-2 and Wright was said to have had a 'fine game'.
