FA Cup Round-Up

Five of the twelve remaining Conference clubs are guaranteed a second round spot, with three more facing replays and one playing on Sunday.

Tamworth pulled off the biggest win, beating Bournemouth 2-1 at Dean Court. Aldershot won 3-1 at Burnham thanks to two Greg Heald goals, while Dagenham went down 2-1 at Hartlepool after taking the lead. Stevenage won at Paul Gascoigne's Kettering Town 3-1, with Anthony Elding coming off the bench to score. A Paul Brayson hat-trick ended Morecambe's hopes as they lost 3-1 at home to Northwich, and Grays beat York 3-0 to book their place in the second round. Southport and Woking require a replay after drawing in an all-Conference clash at Haig Avenue, and Burton will also get a replay after drawing at Peterboro 0-0.

In other notable results, Burscough of the Unibond beat League One Gillingham 3-2, Weymouth drew at Notts Forest 1-1, and Worcester drew with Chippenham Town 1-1.

In the only Conference match, Exeter won 2-1 at Kidderminster to draw level on points with leaders Grays.
