Club Boosted By Cup Draw

Speaking to the Hereford Times, Graham Turner believed the FA Cup match against Stockport was both a boost to the club and a winnable match: "The draw has given everyone a lift in the lead-up to the Woking match. It's a home tie that is winnable and has given us all a boost."

Looking forward to Saturday's match, Turner added "Only Stacey Coldicott and Adam Stansfield will not be available but Adam is making good progress, Darren Blewitt has not joined in training yet after his leg injury at Kidderminster but should be all right and Simon Travis is looking strong."

The Hereford Times article suggests that Andy Williams and Guy Ipoua will continue as the first choice pairing up front.

Meanwhile, in his weekly column, Graham Turner wrote about the FA Cup results from the weekend - describing Tamworth's victory over Bournemouth as hardly worthy of the giantkilling tag: "Hereford beating Newcastle is exactly what that phrase describes but I would not really term Bournemouth as a 'giant'."
