Scarboro manager Nick Henry has received the backing of the chairman after the club slumped to the bottom of the Conference following a 5-0 defeat at Grays.
Malcolm Reynolds declared that ""On the way back on Saturday I felt as frustrated and as disappointed as any other fan, but it isn't a time to be making knee-jerk reactions and sacking everyone, including myself. If there is a clear-out and we do start again, it doesn't guarantee you the success that everyone is demanding. I will be sitting down with the lads and seeing how they feel. I can tell you now that they will be as keen as I am to get the club away from the bottom of the table."
"We have three big games coming up so this isn't a week to be doing anything silly. We are now underdogs going into the Harrogate game because they are at home and going well. After that we have the Aldershot and Tamworth league games. I still think we have enough quality in the side and in pre-season there were a lot of people who agreed with me. The squad and manager don't turn bad after a dozen games."
The Chairman's backing comes days after one disgruntled Scarboro fan put Nick Henry on Ebay, telling the Scarboro boss "Very sorry about this Nicky but if you won't resign I have to auction you off."
