At this weeks Fans Forum, Graham Turner talked about the new signings at Edgar Street after being prompted to finish a quip.
"Tell us the one about the Cameroon, the Aussie and the Frenchman," he was asked.
"You forgot the Welshman," retorted Turner. "All we want now is a miserable Scot. Most sides that are successful have a miserable Scot. Tight so and so never bought a drink.
"We're still looking for one!"
Next there was a mention of the cricket result no doubt because Jon Brady was sat next to Turner. Also at top table was Wayne Jones.
Turner then started talking about some of the new signings.
"Guy Ipoua, I'm not sure of all the clubs. He was at Torino, Athletio Madrid bought him, Scunthorpe, Bristol Rovers, Wayne knew him from his days at Gillingham, Livingston up in Scotland. So he's travelled. He's a striker who we hope will score goals for us.
"Alex Jeannin: He always impressed me when we played against Exeter. His enthusiasm for the game. He's got a strong left foot and we always had problems with his set pieces when we played Exeter so that in itself is a bonus.
"Jon Brady: His glittering career needs no introduction!"
It was time for some wit from the audience. And not unsurprisingly John Brady former manager at Stevenage,Mr Westley, was mentioned.
"We've got an even more witty manager here," said Brady who then revealed why he came to Hereford.
"To be honest, when we played you in the semi-finals I got about four touches during the game. I didn't really enjoy playing there. I've always admired the way Hereford play football and I thought even at this late stage of my career I could improve myself.
"I've really enjoyed pre-season and I'm looking forward to the start of thr season."
