Bulls win at Aber

Hereford United made hard work of defeating Aberystwyth 1-0 this evening. Adam Stansfield scored the only goal in the second half.

The conditions were wet and with the narrowness of the pitch, Hereford United found it difficult to play their preferred passing game. In fact the Bulls' goalkeepers had more to do than the Aber goalie.

Hereford started with a strong side but without Stacy Coldicott who was present but not named. As expected there was no sign of Andy Ferrell.

Full report shortly

Several Exeter supporters watched the game. They appeared to be more interested in watching former Grecian Alex Jeannin than spying on Hereford United.

Meanwhile on the way back from Aberystwyth some Bulls supporters were held up at traffic lights whilst a Lady supporter got out of the back of a car in pouring rain to rescue what looked like a frog from the middle of the road to return it to safety.

For some of us it was the highlight of the evening.
