Uncertainty remains over whether Andy Ferrell will be at Edgar Street this afternoon.
According to This is the North East, Darlington manager David Hodgson was to take another look at Ferrell last night.
The Quakers travelled to Durham for a friendly which they won 5-1.
Ferrell was in the Hereford United squad at Bromsgrove on Wednesday but took no part in the game.
UPDATED 2pm:
Ferrell didn't play last night but manager Hodgson is likely to give Ferrell a chance to stake his claim in a behind-closed-doors game against Queen of the South on Tuesday again according to the This is the North East site.
FURTHER UPDATE 6pm:
Andy Ferrell played for Hereford United this afternoon and for the second time at Edgar Street showed what a useful signing he would be for the Bulls.
