Simon Travis, the Hereford United player injured whilst playing for England in the Four-Nations tournament in Ireland, has written a letter of thanks published in the Non-League Paper.
"Just wanted to say a big thank you to all the National Game XI staff and players for the help and support they gave my wife Charlotte and myself during the Four Nations tournament after I suffered a collapsed lung and broken ribs.
"From arranging flights and accomodation for my wife to flying us back by air ambulance, a traumatic week was made much less stressful by the FA. Thankfully I am now at home recovering slowly.
