Taylor to miss rest of season

On-loan midfielder Daryl Taylor is likely to miss the rest of Hereford United's Nationwide Conference season.

The Walsall youngster twisted his knee against York City last weekend, although his team-mate Leroy Williams, who is also on-loan at Edgar Street, is available after suspension.

Saddlers boss Paul Merson told their official website: "It's a shame that Daryl got injured last weekend but the experience will stand both lads in good stead for next season."

"Leroy has got his head down and worked hard. He is doing well and like Daryl has played an important role in their recent run of good form."
