Six Conference games tomorrow

There are another six Conference games tomorrow and four of them involve potential play-off candidates.

Hereford United (3rd) travel to Forest Green Rovers. There will be a full preview of this game later today.

Of the other matches, Carlisle (2nd) travel to York City. The Cumbrians were surprisingly defeated by Forest Green on Saturday and manager Paul Simpson will be eager to win this encounter.

"We were dreadful from the first minute," he told the Non-League Paper. Carlisle had been unbeaten in their last seven before this defeat including the draw at Edgar Street last Tuesday. Anything less than a win tomorrow could allow Hereford United, assuming they overcome Forest Green, to move above the Cumbrians.

Exeter City (9th) will be desperate to defeat Dagenham (11th) at St James'. They were defeated by lowly Northwich on Saturday whilst the Daggers were without a game. Should the Devon side lose this encounter they will probably find it very difficult to make the play-offs.

Morecambe (7th) have the easiest looking game of the evening against Burton Albion. The Brewers were knocked out of the Trophy by Grays Athletic at the weekend and as Morecambe are on a good run of form recently including a win at Gravesend last Saturday, they will start as favourites for this one.

Morecambe have what looks like one of the easiest run-ins and are looking likely play-off candidates, especially if they take three points tomorrow.

In summary, if Carlisle win, Hereford will stay third whatever their result. If Carlisle lose and the Bulls obtain at least a point at the Lawn, then they will move up to second. Morecambe could move to fourth if they win and the Grecians as high as fifth assuming they win and Morecambe lose.
