Well-known Hereford United supporter Mark Blandford has sold 2.5m shares in Sportingbet, the company he founded.
According to the Sunday Times, Blandford still owns some 12m shares which are currently worth about £31m.
Sportingbet was launched by Blandford in 1998 and floated on the AIM market in 2001. He has revealed that he sold the shares to spread the risk of where his personal wealth was invested.
The sale is another in a series of sales by Blandford since the company was listed. Last April he sold 2.2m shares and in 2003 he sold 8m shares.
The company recently acquired Paradise Poker and its shares peaked at 349p last month.
