More comment about last night's game has emerged this morning.
Phil Simpson, the Carlisle manager, told the Journal: "That was a superb performance. We defended strongly and we didn't let them settle at all.
"We had the better of the chances but I'm happy because we didn't want to come here and lose tonight. They are a good team but so are we and that's something the lads are really starting to pick up on."
Graham Turner, the Hereford United manager, spoke to the Worcester News:
"Carlisle are a decent side. They will not be far off at the end of the season and I don't think we will be either.
"We had 20 minutes after half-time when we had them on the ropes and we needed a goal in that period but it didn't come for us."
