Another clean sheet pleases Turner

Although honours were even in the Hereford/Carlisle match last night, both managers seemed reasonably pleased with the outcome.

"It's been a solid performance. Another clean sheet, that is the fourth on the trot now," Graham Turner told BBC Hereford and Worcester.

"We said before Easter after we had lost to Morecambe that we had to take six points from the two Easter matches. Now we might be looking and thinking that therer is a little bit of pressure to take six points from our next two games.

"Neither will be easy, but that's what we have to be looking at. Carlisle are a decent side. They won't be far off at the end of the season."

Meanwhile Paul Simpson, the Carlisle manager, commented:

"We have worked our socks off throughout the side and come away with what could prove to be a very important point."
