Hereford United draw 0-0 with Carlisle United this evening in a very entertaining game. All that was missing was goals, but the result was probably a fair reflection of the match.
Full report shortly.
The attendance at Edgar Street was 3819, the highest in the Conference this evening. Exeter had 3568 for their game against Halifax.
As a consequence of the draw and other results Hereford United are now third in the league but only on goal difference. Both Stevenage and Exeter won their games this evening.

Barnet could not celebrate promotion to the Conference this evening but it would take a miracle for Carlisle to overtake them. In effect Barnet would have to lose their last four games whilst Carlisle win all their fixtures and improve their goal difference.
The Bulls News Potential Points Table still shows Hereford in third place. This table assumes all the contenders for the play-offs win their remaining fixtures.
