Draw creates more congestion

Hereford United will have to travel to Hucknall Town next Tuesday after the two teams draw 2-2 this afternoon at Edgar Street. The Conference match with Carlisle arranged for that evening will be postponed.

The Bulls scored two excellent goals but poor defending allowed Hucknall back into the game. Full report shortly.

The replay will not be wanted by the Bulls and Hucknall will feel pleased with their afternoon's work.

Meanwhile so-called Hucknall fans were said to have caused trouble in Hereford both before and after the game. Extra police were brought in to deal with problems.

Traffic was stopped outside the ground after the game ended and dogs were seen being used close to the away entrance.
