Trewick pleased with Anyinsah

John Trewick, the Hereford United coach, is very pleased with loan signing Joe Anyinsah. The Bristol City player will keep his place in the Hereford United side to face Dagenham tomorrow.

"Joe has looked very lively since coming to the club and has settled in very, very well," Trewick told the Evening News.

"He likes to take players on and is more of an orthodox wideman than others at the club. Rob Purdie and Danny Williams have played in that position but the position comes more natural to Joe.

"He is also benefiting from his time with us because he is getting a good standard of football under his belt."

Talking about the injury to Danny Williams last Tuesday, Trewick revealed that it wasn't as serious as first thought.

"Danny's knee locked, giving him a bit of a scare. But we have had a look and are hopeful he will be okay for the Dagenham game."

Trewick also said that whilst several players had injuries, most of them should be able to play at least a part in tomorrow's match. And he felt that a win against the Daggers was very possible.

"We have changed our system since we lost down there and I feel we are now capable of beating anyone at home.

"Dagenham were well-organised when we played them and have some pace up front and out wide. But we have to concentrate on what we have to do and attack them right from the start."
