Turner wary of Southport
Graham Turner realises that the boot is on the other foot tomorrow as the roles of being a giant-killer in the FA Cup are reversed.
"We are very capable of beating Southport but we are fully aware of the pitfalls that could materialise tomorrow. It's one of those games that we have just got to get through," Turner told the Evening News.
"If you look at the game, it's a reverse of what we've been through in the LDV Vans Trophy. We have been the underdog twice against teams in higher divisions and have won both games. But now we must realise that Southport are in the situation that we were in.
"The message to the players is that we have got to match Southport. I've always thought that they are a well organised club and it was a shame to see them relegated from the Conference. But I'm sure they will be back."
Meanwhile Southport chairman Charlie Clapham thinks his club could spring a surprise on the Bulls.
"Liam Watson, the Southport manager, has an excellent FA Cup record and we hope he remains a lucky manager in the FA Cup for us."
It have been confirmed that former Southport and Bulls legend Eric Redrobe is the guest of honour at the match.
