Baker lets one in

Former Hereford United goal-keeper Matt Baker had his first game for Wrexham last night.

Wrexham drew 1-1 with Stoke City at the Racecourse but the goal for Stoke was a little lucky according to reports.

Manager Denis Smith was quoted in the Wrexham Evening Leader:"All the new lads did well, although Matt Baker won't be too pleased with their goal. But he's just come out of playing in the Conference and obviously playing in this division is a lot different."

Meanwhile another former Hereford United player has his first game for his new club this evening.

Steve Guinan will wear the number nine shirt for Cheltenham against Bishop's Cleeve.
