150 not out!
Ian Wright made his 150th appearance for Hereford at Stevenage this afternoon, in front of about three hundred Bulls supporters. He must have been very pleased with both his own performance and that of the team.
Hereford have now kept three consecutive clean sheets against top opposition and should continue this good run of form against Kettering Town next Tuesday.
After the game, Michael Rose said: "The lads have performed well. I think second half we held on a bit and we had to defend quite a bit, but I think overall we played well. We seem to do really well away from home, we've had a few good results and we need to keep it going now." Graham Turner added " It is such a tight league, everyone is beating everyone but I think we are capable of giving most sides a bit of trouble. He was delighted with the performance and beleives the Bulls can now shoot for a top five place.
Stevenage is one of the better Conference grounds to visit. Away supporters get a good view of the game, even being seated behind the goal. Getting to the ground is easy, with clear sign posted directions, but the admission for children was high at £7.
In the press box today was former Hereford United favourite Ricky George. Barnet, his local team were at Scarborough.
