Bulls sink further into relegation mire

Hereford are now five points from safety in National League North after teams around them won today.

The Bulls saw their game at home to Spennymoor postponed yesterday - the only match to fall foul of the weather. They are currently in 22nd place, five points behind Oxford City, who are just outside the relegation places in 20th.

Oxford have played six more games but claimed a brilliant 1-0 win over second-placed AFC Fylde today.

Peterborough Sports - who are three points ahead of Hereford in 21st having played three more games - also had a day to remember, beating Chester 3-0.

Even bottom club Leamington won, a late winner seeing them beat Curzon Ashton 2-1.

Alfreton, meanwhile, lost 2-1 to Bedford.
