Two Out Two In?

Hereford manager Paul Caddis let two players go yesterday and he hopes he can replace them in time for the game against Alfreton on Saturday.

"We've had to try and free up some money and sadly Kai and Chris have moved on," Caddis told BBC Hereford and Worcester.

"We thank them for their efforts.

"We're at a place where I have to try and get it right, I have to try and manipulate our current squad to free up some funds to go and try to bring some fresh faces in.

"It's tough out there but we'll try and do that.

"It's been a difficult start to be honest but we're still quite calm and realistic of how things can turn quite quickly.

"We've been through poor spells before but it makes it worse that it's happened at the start of the season as well.

"Ideally we'll try and get a couple in for the weekend. But it's easier said than done. That's an ideal world.

"Put it this way, if I'm going to try and sign a player and I'm the only one trying to sign him then sometimes it's not a good sign.

"You're always up against people, you're always against clubs who are full time, but we'll try and get a couple in, whether that's on loan or permanent or non-contract.

"We've put the feelers out there, we'll try our best to see who we can get."
