Hereford have fallen to a 4-1 defeat at home to Chorley.
Despite positive signs in a 2-1 win at Buxton on Tuesday, a poor performance from Hereford saw them comfortably beaten by a Chorley side who never had to get into fifth gear.
Craig Hewitt, Adam Blakeman and a Jack Sampson penalty saw Chorley with a three goal advantage by the 22nd minute, with Eno Nto managing to pull a goal back early in the second half.
But that glimmer of hope so soon extinguished when Sampson scored his second and there was no way back for Paul Caddis's side who did put in an improved second half performance.
With boos ringing around the ground at half time and full time, fans are frustrated by the third defeat in four games.
