Galloway wants full-time move

Carlisle United midfielder Mick Galloway is hopeful of gaining a permanent contract at Hereford United

The 32-year old is on-loan at Edgar Street until the end of October and told BBC Hereford & Worcester: "I am at Carlisle until the end of the season but being here for the last few days has impressed me. Carlisle have said to me that they need to cut the wage bill and I am not likely to be in their first eleven.

"I want to play first team football, so I need to impress the gaffer to try and get a long term deal. If I can get eight games under my belt without a defeat, then I might be here long term."

Graham Turner, the United boss, is also hoping to bring in a loan striker before Friday's match at Burton Albion.
