Hereford have 1-0 up at half time in this afternoon’s National League North match against Spennymoor Town at Edgar Street. Aaron Downes’s side took the lead when Luke Spokes played in Harrison Iwunze, who from a tight angle lifted the ball over the keeper to break the deadlock. Manager-less Spennymoor’s best chance came for stalwart Glenn Taylor, but his curling effort from outside the box was met by Theo Richardson diving at full-stretch to his left. But as the North-East outfit came to life, Richardson had to be alert for Dan Jones’s header from a corner, two more from marksman Taylor.
