National League Promotion:

• Promoted to EFL2 as Champions: York City
• Play-off qualifiers: Rochdale, Carlisle United, Boreham Wood, Scunthorpe United, Southend United and Forest Green Rovers. Only Southend and Rochdale of this group were National League clubs last season, as Carlisle and FGR were in EFL2, whilst Boreham Wood and Scunthorpe United were in Step 2.
• Relegated: Truro City, Morecambe, Braintree Town, Brackley Town. Braintree were the only club of the four who had been in the division in 2024/25.

National League North:

• Champions: AFC Fylde
• Play-off qualifiers: South Shields, Kidderminster Harriers, Macclesfield FC, Buxton, Scarborough Athletic and Chester FC
• Relegated: Leamington, Peterborough Sports, Alfreton Town and Curzon Ashton

National League South:

• Champions: Worthing,
• Play-off qualifiers: Hornchurch, Torquay United, Dorking Wanderers, Hemel Hempstead Town, Weston-s-Mare and Maidenhead United
• Relegated: Eastbourne Borough, Enfield, Chippenham Town and Bath City.
