Hereford defender Kyle Howkins has been given a one match ban following confusion at last Tuesday night's game against Marine according to a tweet by former King's Lynn chairman Stephen Cleeve.
'STOP PRESS - the sending off that never was sees Howkins given a ban for 1 game (next season) So fair play to the referee whose report must have confirmed the 2 yellow cards - I also understand that Curzon, Bedford,Alfreton and Lynn all put in complaints what will the FA do?'
The incidents were noted in the BN match report:
'During the half, it even appeared Howkins was booked twice; once for a foul on the halfway line and a second for wrestling in the box.'
As yet there is no confirmation of the ban by Hereford FC.
