Hereford manager Paul Caddis has said that for him the backlog of fixtures is a positive when trying to attract players to Edgar Street.
"The backlog of fixtures for me is a positive." Caddis told BBC Hereford and Worcester.
"I can encourage players (by telling them) we have a lot of games, you are going to get minutes.
"I won't promise anyone, and I never have, that they'll play every minute of every game.
"However, I think I worked out the other day, we've got 19 games in 9 weeks, that's now probably 24 in 13 weeks, so we have a lot of football to play.
"We will need 20, 21, 22 players.
"I've explained to the squad there will be times when you might play one week, you might find yourself on the bench next week, you might not be in the squad the following week.
"Tough, that's just the way we're going to have to do it. We have to be as fresh as we possibly can.
"We understand that the likes of Spennymoor, Darlington are going to have to travel down here on a Tuesday night, we'll want to go into those games with high energy, we can't do that if we ask players to do Tuesday, Saturday, Tuesday, Saturday.
"We're looking at seven, eight players but we've got three over the line at the moment from full-time clubs who will come in on loan.
"We've got offers out for some non-contracted players. We will have to be patient."
