Hereford travelled to Worcester FA to play Droitwich Spa, the game began in heavy rain. Both teams played some great football and matched each other ball for ball.
On the 11th minute Droitwich broke the deadlock after breaking the back line with a great run and finish.
On 24 minutes Molly Camden conceded a penalty which Droitwich took with ease. Within 10 minutes Molly had a chance to pull one back, a ball in from the corner fell at her feet just six yards out but she lifted the ball just over the bar.
On 42 minutes Tianna Chant forced the keeper to make a stretching one foot save as her shot was on target and just two minutes later Robin Mear saw an effort hit the cross bar.
HT: Droitwich 2-0 Hereford
Within 7 minutes of the restart Robin Mear pulled one back forcing the ball past the out stretched keeper.
On 63 minutes Droitwich restored the two goal cushion after looping the keeper from far out.
On 65 minutes Matilda Harris forced the keeper into a great save after the ball bounced back from a corner.
Two minutes later Droitwich extended their lead further from an unchallenged shot again from way out.
Hereford kept fighting, Millie Griffiths left footed shot narrowly missing the far corner.
With 75 minutes on the clock Hereford were awarded a penalty, Mylie Jordan saw her attempt saved by the Droitwich keeper. Droitwich punished Hereford further by breaking fast and finding the net at the other end.
Credit to the Hereford team, no one gave up and Molly Camden fired a looping ball from thirty yards out beating the keeper to make it 5-2.

Had we taken our chances it could have been a close game. At this level the opposition move the ball faster and capitalise on the slightest chance. Hereford need to learn from this and address the small differences between winning and losing in this league.
