I'm Trying To Be Positive Said Caddis

Despite another of Hereford's games, the latest against Spennymoor tomorrow, being called off, manager Paul Caddis says he's trying to be positive.

"It's unfortunate, we've got a pretty tough schedule as it is," Caddis told BBC Hereford and Worcester this afternoon.

"It's out of our control, the weather has been drastic for the last few days, and I think it is to continue right to the end of next week.

"I feel sorry for Ben (Bowen), there's nothing he can do and he's got a lot of pride in the pitch.

"It's very wet, it's very soft, quite a lot of it is under water.

"One of those ones you can look from the stand and it looks all green but once you get on the actual surface level it's pretty wet.

"I think Tuesday (Oxford at Edgar Street) there could be another inspection, we've just got to wait and see what the outcome of that is.

"I think we had three available Tuesdays. Obviously tomorrow is off so we'll have two available. If Oxford is off that takes us down to one. It's really tight.

"I'm trying to see the positives, it's easy to be so doom and gloom and think another game and we've got Saturday, Tuesday, non-stop.

"But I'm trying to be positive and stay positive and encourage the group. We had a good discussion last night about let's go and play these games and go and attack them and go and enjoy them and go and enjoy that tough schedule we've got.

"We had a tough schedule last year when we were really successful, I think we won eight of eleven games when we went Saturday, Tuesday non-stop, away to Darlo and stuff like that.

"So we'll try and get some freshness into the squad as well which will give everyone a lift.

"I get it's disappointing and I understand the schedule is going to be extremely tough but nothing in life comes easy so we're going to be positive and going to attack it the best we can."
