Hereford trailing at the break again

Hereford are 2-0 down at half time in this afternoon's fourth round FA Trophy tie against AFC Fylde.

The visitors, dominating possession through large spells of the first half, took the lead in the 31st minute as Danny Ormerod broke the deadlock from the penalty spot after a Gus Mafuta handball.

Hereford, offering very little threat up front, then thought they'd pulled themselves back level, but Lawson D'Ath's goal from a corner was ruled out for offside.

But Fylde doubled their lead just seven minutes after the spot kick as Max Taylor bundled the ball home from a corner, seconds after a decent save from Theo Richardson denied Tom Whelan.

While the Bulls managed to get past the half hour mark before conceding this afternoon, conceding first and trailing at the break is proving hard to stop.
