West Midlands Police has said it will be carrying out an investigation into the alleged racist abuse at Sporting Khalsa - causing the FA Cup tie against Hereford to be abandoned.
Midway through the second half, the home side's keeper Ravan Constable reported to the referee that he had been racially abused by a supporter behind his goal.
Hereford have since said two supporters have been identified as possibly being involved and have been issued with immediate bans until a full investigation is complete.
The club also said the police are involved, with a spokesperson for West Midlands Police - which covers Willenhall - telling Bulls News: "An investigation will be carried out, and the victim will be spoken to in due course to establish the details."
They asked anyone with information or who witnessed the incident to contact the force via the live chat feature on its website, or by calling 101 quoting log 3265 of 13 September.
