Hereford fan and HUST board member Matty Rowe is fundraising for a new 16-metre banner condemning racism.
It comes after Hereford's second qualifying round tie at Sporting Khalsa was abandoned midway through the second half when home keeper Ravan Constable reported being racially abused.
Rowe also wants 2,500 red cards that supporters will hold up before the Enterprise National League North match against Worksop Town at Edgar Street on Saturday.
Rowe said: "Following on from the shameful scenes at Sporting Khalsa, we would like to fundraise for a 16-metre banner 'Red Card To Racism - Racists Not Welcome Here', as well as 2,500 piece of red card to be held up by everyone within the ground prior to and up to kick off.
"Any additional funds raised will be donated to a charity or project of Sporting Khalsa goalkeeper Ravan Constable's choice.
"The banner and cards will be for next Saturday's home game, and any additional funds will be finalised once the crowdfunder withdrawal is complete (can take up to 2 weeks)."
Any fan wishing to donate can visit GoFundMe here, with the target set at £400.
Rowe also said other fans are encouraged to also create banners or whatever they feel appropriate.
Update 11.20am: Hereford FC are now backing the fan-led campaign.
