Ethan Freemantle

Striker Ethan Freemantle, who had a spell on loan at Edgar Street in 2023, is staying at step three Stourbridge for another season. He had been on loan there before leaving Kidderminster Harriers. Fellow former Bull Tyrone Barnett is also staying on in his new player/assistant manager role.

Chester have now sold 1,600 season tickets. Last season, their average attendance was 2,298 the fourth highest attendance in National League North behind Scunthorpe United, Hereford and Kidderminster Harriers.

Curzon Ashton have signed former Leamington keeper Callum Hawkins on a three-year contract. He had spent the last three years in Warwickshire, making 132 appearances and keeping 41 clean sheets.

The 25-year-old joined Leamington in 2022 on an initial loan from Burton Albion Football Club before making a permanent move in September 2023.

Peterborough Sports have announced the signing of England deaf international keeper Sam Edwards. He is one of four new additions so far this summer, with forward Luca Miller and central midfielder Sam Mclintock joining from Kettering Town, and former Peterborough United defender Aaron Powell.
