Yusifu Ceesay has said he has nothing but great memories from his time at Hereford |
Winger Yusifu Ceesay has left Edgar Street.
The 30-year-old pacey winger joined the Bulls having previously had spells at Blackpool and Kidderminster, as well as two successful stints at Alfreton Town.
He proved problematic for right-backs across the division with his erratic and unpredictable style, though arguably Hereford often became over-reliant on using him as an outlet.
He had tried to forge a move to Spain last summer but when that didn't materialise, he accepted an offer to stay with Hereford.
Now, after two seasons, Ceesay said he is leaving Edgar Street, having made 73 appearances and scored 22 goals. Paul Caddis had offered him a deal to stay but he joins Jason Cowley, Alex Babos, Sammy Robinson and Jaiden White in moving on.
In a message posted to X, formerly Twitter, he said: "After two seasons, my time at Hereford FC has come to an end. I want to thank manager Paul Caddis and Adam Rooney — it's been a real pleasure working with you both.
"I've met some amazing people during my time here. From the changing room to the stands, it's been nothing but great memories.
"To the staff and players, it was a pleasure sharing this journey with you. And to the fans, thank you for the incredible support and passion you've shown me throughout.
"Wishing the club all the very best moving forward."
Currently, only Matt Horton and Tate Campbell have yet to publicly announce if they are taking up their offer to stay with the Bulls. However, boss Paul Caddis has said every signing from now on would be a new face.
