Hereford Women Clinch League Title

 

Hereford Women have won the Midwest Counties Female Football League.

They now have 73 points. Second placed Kingfisher have 63 points so even if they win their three remaining games they can't catch Hereford.

In the first of two games at Droitwich this afternoon, Hereford defeated the home team 4-1.

Amelia Griffiths scored in the 14th minute to put Hereford ahead.

Jess Kenny added a second just after half time. Shortly afterwards Droitwich got one back to make it 2-1.

Then goals from Sheree Smith and Matilda Harris put the result beyond the home team.
