Today's Family Food and Drink Festival at Edgar Street seems to have been a success.
"It has been a lot of hard work from the club and it is great to see so many people here,"said Hereford FC general manager Jamie Griffiths as reported by the Hereford Times.
"It's great to open the doors to those who have maybe never visited Edgar Street before and great to open the doors to the community.
"We are a small community club and it's about supporting the football team as well so the money we'll make today will help Paul (Caddis) and the playing budget."
Club chairman Chris Ammonds also spoke to the paper.
"From a club point of view, events like this are great for the community. It does give the club a vital income stream so we can try and be as competitive as we can on the field.
"We are a club very central to the city centre and using the pitch for the event after the season is good before our groundsman starts to get grumpy! We are all proud Herefordians so the local producers getting a chance to display their craft is brilliant for them."
