Pleased With Result Said Caddis

Hereford manager Paul Caddis said he was 'pleased with the result' after his side defeated Curzon Ashton 3-1 yesterday at Edgar Street.

"At this stage of the season it's all about the result rather than the performance but I thought we performed really well after the first fifteen/twenty minutes.

"We had some really good chances in the first half, in the second half we controlled for large parts but then they got their goal back.

"Curzon has got the best away record in the division so we knew there would be a reaction and they are a good team, Craig is a brilliant manager and he does brilliant stuff with them.

"We've done the double over a team at the top end so we're really pleased with the result."

Omari Sterling-James made his debut for Hereford, he was signed from Rushall earlier in the week.

"He's an experienced player, he understands the game. he understands his position, his delivery is second to none.

"He's just kind of sparked us off.

"He wants to try and get shots off, his delivery is excellent, he's put a couple of brilliant balls, one that Rems has got on the end of at the back back, then Tate a brilliant one at the end of the first half that Rem gets on the end of, then Tate hits the bar. You just start to build that bit of momentum.

"Jaiden scored a brilliant goal and then we're just on the front foot. And when we score one I want us to keep going and get the second and get the third. I don't want us to be a team that trys to protect (a lead), that's not us to be honest.

"We're really pleased with the result overall but our feet are firmly on the ground."
