Injury update from Caddis as Robinson seen with fracture boot at Marine

Sammy Robinson was injured on Tuesday night
Hereford manager Paul Caddis has given an update on injuries within his squad - including Sammy Robinson.

The former Manchester City youngster, who has played 32 games for Hereford this season across defence and midfield but is currently suspended having picked up 10 yellow cards, was seen at Marine on Saturday wearing a walker boot. According to the NHS, these are commonly used for foot or ankle fractures. He was forced off during Tuesday's home win over Buxton after a tackle from Cian Coleman - with the Buck sent over for it being his second bookable offence.

Caddis said in a letter to fans published on the club's website that Robinson had been for a scan on Friday but the results wouldn't be known until the middle or end of next week.

Midfielder Preston Bitemo also remains sidelined with a "stress fracture injury", but he is said to be "coming along well".

As for DJ Sturridge, he is a recent addition to the injury list having rolled his ankle and was unable to complete training on Thursday night.

Caddis is hopeful he will be back available for Tuesday night’s session after assessment from the medical team.

Tate Campbell was named in the starting XI ahead of the Buxton game but he was replaced by Robinson after struggling with groin pain.

He managed to make the squad at Marine and "hopefully will be back to full fitness in the coming days".
