Adam Rooney was Hereford's hero last night at Ilkeston.
The veteran striker scored the only goal of the game to put the Bulls into the next round of the FA Cup.
Afterwards manager Paul Caddis spoke about his assistant.
"I've got to say, I know he's my assistant manager, but I thought Adam Rooney was exceptional.
"He obviously gets the goal but he just plays the game with great maturity which people expect from a player like Roons but you still got to go and do it when you are on the pitch.
"I thought he led the line brilliant, I thought he managed the players through the game excellent."
