Jordan Lyden will be out for weeks after sustaining an injury playing for Hereford at the Westfields friendly.
"Lydon is out for a long time, probably 16 weeks" said manager Paul Caddis.
"He's out of the question.
"Lyden is a brilliant player but he's had a lot of injuries and I feel for him.
"Again I know people will look at him and think he's injury prone but he's never pulled his hamstring.
"He's not just pulled it he's obliterated it.
"He's out for a long time so we'll move on from that one."
