Hereford manager Paul Caddis is not a massive fan of 4G pitches. His comments came after Jordan Lyden had to leave the HFA pitch yesterday with a ham-string injury.
"I'm not a personal fan, that's me being honest," said Caddis.
"I think football should be played on grass.
"However I understand that clubs need to try and make revenue But I'm not a great fan of them.
"We've got to try and deal with them as there are five/six pitches in this division.
"It's a lot of points at stake.
"We train on them because it's difficult to get a grass pitch that is good enough to maintain. You can't get a grass pitch in the winter with flood lights.
"I'm not a massive fan but you've got to get on with it."
