Halesowen Was A Different Test For Us Said Caddis

Hereford manager Paul Caddis felt yesterday's pre season friendly at Halesowen was ' a different test for us' despite going down to ten men in the second half.

"A different test for us," said Caddis.

"I thought we managed the game pretty well until the sending off.

"Then five, six, seven minutes of nervousness, a bit of madness.

"We're disappointed with the red card as well.

"But it was a good test for us.

"The moment of madness, I'm just glad it's happened in pre-season, but I'm disappointed after being 2-0 up."

So what about going down to ten men?

"Nothing should really change.

"Instead of having two number ten's on the pitch we went down one number ten. Nothing changed behind, we still had the back three with two wing-backs.

"It's game management, slow the game down, make a foul high up the pitch, someone go down holding a leg.

"You've got to break the game up, especially if you are under the cosh, down to ten men, just to take the sting out of it. Hopefully we will learn from it."
