Hereford FC chairman Chris Ammonds has looked forward to next Saturday's pre-season friendly against League Two Newport County.
He is hoping that supporters will turn out in numbers as by doing so will help manager Paul Caddis's playing budget.
"We are always looking at ways to offer more support to Paul and his staff and a sizeable crowd for our final pre-season friendly against Newport County on Saturday will potentially allow us to add to the playing budget before the start of the season," said Ammonds.
Last Saturday Newport travelled to Kidderminster and lost 2-0 so Saturday's friendly should be lively.
"The game promises to be a very competitive one with both teams looking to put the finishing touches to their planning before the real action starts."
