Former Bull Adam Livingstone is one of 12 players released by Buxton after their second season in the National League North, finishing 14th. Livingstone joined the Bucks for an undisclosed fee in February and said he "really enjoyed the second half of the season".
The side have only offered a new deal to one player so far, with negotiations "ongoing or pending" with five others. The side, now with new manager John McGrath who made more than 200 appearances for Burton Albion as a player, could also be looking to go full time.
The finals of both the FA Vase and the FA Trophy take place this afternoon.
