News round up:

John Mills playing for Hereford against Tiverton in the 2016/17 season

Former Hereford marksman John Mills has agreed to carry on as manager at Abingdon United for the 2024/25 season. The club, who said they were pleased, added they are in the process of reconstructing the senior sides setup.

The 34-year-old, who still plays up front for step six Abingdon, said it was time to put this season's lessons into practice and push on with an ever-improving squad and hit their targets.

Two players have announced their exit from Darlington. Goalkeeper Tommy Taylor and midfield Ben Liddle both won't be at Blackwell Meadows next season.

As reported by The Northern Echo, Taylor played 126 times in three seasons at Blackwell Meadows, having signed from Buxton in 2021, and congratulated the management team of Steve Watson and Terry Mitchell for saving the club from relegation. Liddle said he intends to leave the club when his contract expires after 66 appearances since joining from Bristol Rovers two years ago.

Southport have released five players. Seven players are on contract for next season, three more have been made offers and talks are continuing with two others.

Hereford FC analyst Patryk Bialowas is stepping down as First Team Manager at Cardiff Met Futsal.
