Gary Hooper is set to join Barnet.
The former Hereford United striker recently left Gulf United.
Now 35 Hooper has been playing abroad since leaving Sheffield Wednesday in 2019.
Hooper joined Hereford on loan from Southend in January 2008. He made 19 appearances for the Bulls scoring 11 goals.
Manager Graham Turner wanted to sign Hooper at the end of his loan spell but the striker moved to Scunthorpe United for a fee of £125,000.
